Mutant Destiny

I'm interested in doing a roleplay set in the X-Men universe, but focused more around two characters. I'm looking for a private roleplay, just myself and one girl. My character would be a bad boy type with energy manipulation ability who is being targeted by the Brotherhood for membership. The girl would have whatever power my RP partner wants and be targeted by the X-Men. Of course, they fall in love and this leads to questions about whether they will join either faction, whether they can stand up to anti-mutant factions, and whether their love can survive the strain of being what they are. The character playing would be split down the middle.

Certain characters in the X-Men universe have switched factions from time-to-time, so a set list of who is on what side is probably in order. I will be controlling the Brotherhood, and my RP partner will be controlling the X-Men. Here is a list of the biggest players for both sides:

Anti-Mutant Factions include the human thug troopers the Purifiers, the scientifically vampiric U-Men, and other assorted angry mobs and political figures.
